dc.descriptionThe Chase County Courant was founded in 1874 by William Edward Timmons. Timmons published the newspaper until his death 1899 when he unexpectedly passed away on May 4th, 1899. It is noted that the Courant was the Democratic newspaper in the community of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.
