The Lamb County Leader-News traces its origins to 1923 when the Littlefield Leader was founded in either April or May of that year. The newspaper changed names to the Lamb County Leader in November 1923. For several years, the newspaper printed two weekly editions, one titled the Lamb County Leader and the other titled the County Wide News. The newspapers were combined under one name, the Lamb County Leader-News in 1969, and the newspaper continues to be published twice weekly.
